I amdelighted to announce the beginning of a regular Newsletter for the Amelia Heir-Art Design Studio.ÂIn this first issue I will introduce myself.ÂInfuture newsletters there will be updates on designs created, work completed for fabulous clients, and a highlight for a particular design.Â
I have always loved art, color, and being creative!  As a young girl my pages were filled with hearts, stars, rainbows, people, and drawings of the wardrobe to go with it.  It was as though I was creating my own line of paper dolls. When I got my first camera Icouldn’t wait to take pictures of my sisters, my toys, my hair, well… everything. I have memories of bringing my sketch book with me on every camping adventure with my family in the mountains or at a National Park.  Places I still love to be.Â
As I have matured, my creative skills have grown and spread across different mediums.  My junior high teacher taught me to crotchet and an elderly friend taught me to knit.  I have made many beautiful baby clothes, blankets, and washcloths.  I began making detailed scrapbooks as a teenager, the interest born out of my love for people, memories, art, and writing.  As an adult, I love to bead jewelry for myself and for gifts to those I care for.  Recently I am particularly interested in the Native American genre of beading.  I lovea good puzzle, of all kinds, really. I love sewing quilts, cards, clothes, and crafts.  I use my creativity and hard work ethic in how I plant and nurture wildflowers at my home and in how I care for our little hobby farm with a food garden, chickens, dogs, cats, and a bunny.Â
My truest love and joy lie in my marriage to my husband, our six precious children, and in my Savior Jesus Christ. I look forward to providing quality work for your next project.  Projects filled with purpose and meaning are my favorite!
