Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and sale items (such as purchased with any discount from the original price). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at amelia@ameliaheirart.com.

Ecommerce

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned. Any indication that the product has been removed from the original packaging will consider the product used.  You must return the item within 30 days of the date your product was delivered. Amelia Heir Art and/or Amelia Heir Art Creations Shop does not offer any product warranties.


All claims related to the fulfillment of your order including, but not limited to, receiving the wrong item or missing items from your order must be made within 30 days of delivery. Claims are filed by emailing us at amelia@ameliaheirart.com and requesting a return authorization and instructions. If you do not email to obtain a return authorization, we may not be able to process your return.

We will only pay return shipping costs if the item(s) returned are a result of our error (e.g. we shipped you the wrong product), otherwise return freight will be the customer's responsibility.

All returned items must be packaged properly in their original box and packaging, including instruction manuals and/or accessories, with the return authorization number we have provided clearly marked on the return shipping label.

If you are uncertain about how to re-box and ship the goods back, please contact us. We want to make sure the items you send back arrive undamaged.

Please inspect all packages for damage or shortages immediately upon delivery. In the event that there is either visible or concealed damage, simply accept the package, but have a notation made on the carrier delivery receipt. To file a damage claim, our Customer Service department must then be contacted within 48 hours of receipt of the package(s).

NOTE - In the event you receive something damaged please do not discard the original packaging. The carriers require that the original shipping box and packaging material be retained before processing a claim. No claim can be filed without them.

You should expect to receive your refund promptly upon receipt of the product in our warehouse. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper, the time it takes us to process your return once we have received it, and the time it takes your bank/creditor to process our refund request.

We have done our best to craft a fair and friendly return policy to accommodate your needs. Occasionally we have suppliers who have more stringent and specific rules related to handling returns and damage claims. In these cases, we may adjust policy and/or offer you instructions that fall outside of our normal return policy.
